Welcome to the ITPL department!

The department IT in Production and Logistics deals with research and application of information technologies in the context of production and logistics. In this context, the ITPL addresses the following research areas:

  • Modeling and simulation
  • Data analysis and knowledge representation
  • Project planning and control

Within the framework of research activities in German and European joint projects, methods and tools of current information technologies are scientifically investigated with the active involvement of the respective partners and used to solve problems from production and logistics in the operational context.
